Anthony A. Krasnicke, O.D.

A Lehigh Valley native, Dr. Krasnicke completed his pre-optometric education at Moravian College, Bethlehem, PA and his Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, now Salus University, Philadelphia, PA. He served as a Captain in the Medical Service Corps in the Optometric Clinic at Irwin Army Hospital, Fort Riley, KS.

After completing his military service in 1970, he was associated with the National Maritime Health Center and the Optometric Center of New York, where he worked with perceptually handicapped children. In 1970, Dr. Krasnicke joined the practice of Dr. Eugene Davis at 530 Main Street, Bethlehem. He transitioned the practice to 547 Main Street in 1981 and incorporated as Bethlehem Eye Care Associates. 

Dr. Krasnicke is a member of the Lehigh Valley Optometric Society, having served on the Board of Directors and as an officer of the organization. He is also a member in good standing of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Now retired, he remains engaged in his profession through continued education, participation in optometric professional organizations and as an advisor to BECA.
